Product Reviews by Experts
It’s surprisingly difficult to improve on something as familiar as a bucket hat, yet this design does exactly that. Exceptionally lightweight (so important on fussy little heads!) and easy to fold into even the smallest bag, it’s the kind of thing that once you’re using it, you’re wondering how or why you ever used anything else. During testing it comfortably handled everything from swimming to sweaty heads. It’s a beautifully considered piece of design – simple, functional and executed really well. Amazing job. We’ll be adding the other colour to our collection. The most compelling aspect is that its community initiatives feel intrinsically linked to the product itself. Creating opportunities for mothers to connect outdoors is a perfect IRL extension to the whole premise of the brand. And the partnership with Plastic Bank demonstrates a real understanding of social and environmental responsibility. They feel like genuine extensions of the brand’s purpose, not a marketing schtick or a box to check.
This hat is brilliant. We just tried it out on a beach holiday and it floats, has a large coverage area and dried super quickly. It’s also so bright that we never lost it! I’m really loving that this brand supports a global initiative like Plastic Bank, to remove plastic from the ocean, but they also spend time building their local community with mother’s catch ups. Every brand should have that same global perspective with a local community driver.
I really like the practical design of this hat. The wide brim provides great sun protection, and the fact that it’s waterproof and floats makes it a clever option for families who spend time at the beach, pool or around water. The adjustable fit also helps keep it securely in place on windy days and active little ones. I appreciate the brand’s commitment to giving back through initiatives such as removing plastic from the ocean, planting trees and creating opportunities for mothers to connect in their local community. It’s encouraging to see a small, family-led business combining practical products with genuine environmental and community-focused initiatives.
