Formulated with excellent clean ingredients.
Phos Rituals produces small batches of products using cold pressed and organic oils to maintain effectiveness and minimise wastage. The products are made in-house in Melbourne, Australia, with ingredients sourced from Australian retailers such as New Directions Australia, Skin Science and Erth Apothecary.
Phos Rituals prioritises sustainability in packaging by utilising glass containers when feasible and offering Kraft refill pouches as an eco-friendly alternative. The brand consistently evaluates whether materials will persist in landfills or if they can be recycled or biodegraded efficiently. It emphasises choosing Kraft refills over non-recyclable soft plastics and employs Kraft boxes for mailers. Additionally, secondary packaging is crafted from recycled paper and a special process is used to apply a silver coating to ensure the recyclability of its packaging post-use.
Phos Rituals is dedicated to creating a platform that authentically represents the Australian South Asian community, showcasing the unique blend of Australian and Asian identities. It shares personal stories of self-acceptance and achievements, aiming to inspire the community to strive for greater heights. The brand focuses on promoting unity and educating others about cultural appreciation, embracing the Ayurvedic beauty principle that external beauty is linked to the state of mind and spirit. Additionally, it views skincare and haircare application as a mindful ritual, essential for self-care and nurturing.

Product Reviews by Experts

This Ayurvedic hair oil, inspired by South Asian tradition, is crafted not just to nourish the hair but to honour the sacred ritual of self-care. What truly stands out for me is its calming lavender scent, the thoughtful inclusion of Ayurvedic herbs, the luxurious feel of the oil and the beautiful, uplifting intention behind the product. It’s more than a treatment- it’s a moment of connection back to one’s self. I love that Phos Rituals was born from the founder’s deep passion for the power of plant-based ingredients, while also serving as a beautiful celebration of South Asian heritage. There is real intention behind everything they do- not only in creating products that are good for people and the planet, but also in their efforts to educate and uplift the community. Phos Rituals is more than a self-care brand- they’re a movement rooted in culture.

Crafted in small batches using cold pressed and organic oils, you know this glorious Ayurvedic pre-was treatment oil is super fresh. I love the whole “ritual” around using the oil and it smells beautiful. The sweet calico bag is a nice touch too. I love their commitment to small batches to ensure the effectiveness of the product and avoid wastage. Made locally in Melbourne Australia with ingredients sourced from Australian retailers is also commendable!

Beautiful branding and equally a beautiful product that smells and feels phenomenal. I appreciative the inclusion of Ayurvedic herbs that are specifically for head, hair and scalp health, which adds to the herbaceous aroma. It feels luxurious to use and once washed out my hair absolutely felt noticeably nourished. I love that this product is produced in small batches locally, genuinely all natural and that the brand’s philosophy takes pride in inclusivity and representation.
